JOIN US FOR:

RARITAN HEADWATERS STREAM CLEAN UP

SATURDAY, APRIL 23, 2022

Once again, we will be donning boots and work gloves for this wonderful and worthwhile community event.  This is a service project for all of the members of the family, young and old.  Those who've participated in the past can attest that it's a memorable, fun and productive morning as we remove lots of trash that would otherwise end up in our rivers and streams and create awareness of the need for our good stewardship of God's creation.

Our site is in Flemington between Rt 202 and Royal Road in the area surrounding the old ihop parking lot.  If time permits, we'll continue along the stream toward TD Bank.   Please mark your calendars and plan to join in the effort.  There is no big time commitment required.  45 minutes or an hour can make a big difference.  To ask questions or to sign up, please contact

April:  Crossroads4Hope

(Formerly Cancer Support Community of Central NJ) Crossroads4Hope was founded as an independent 501(c)(3) in 2002 by four women who believed that people with cancer and their families deserved professionally led, community-based social and emotional support, education, and resources throughout their cancer journeys.

Here in Central NJ, they have been providing a professional program of support for the communities that they serve for more than a decade. Since its inception, they have provided more than 109,915 hours of service to 15,500 people who have come through their doors both physically and virtually. They provide professionally led support groups, educational workshops, healthy cooking and nutrition classes and activities to promote health and wellness. Crossroads4Hope serves all individuals affected by cancer, including patients, survivors, caregivers, family, and friends at no charge to the individual. They are funded solely through donations, and 84% of all money raised goes directly to our programs of support.

Since 2004, more than 15,500 people have accessed Crossroads4Hope, resulting in 84,000 visits and over 100,000 hours of programming delivered, always offered at no charge. The organization helps all those touched by cancer to move through a health crisis to become active and empowered, taking control of their health and wellbeing. Crossroads4Hope’s network of support embraces all people touched by cancer—the diagnosed and their loved ones—providing access to resources and evidence-based programs of support, education, wellbeing, and hope.

Crossroads4Hope is committed to upholding the dignity of all people through cultural humility and respect for gender identification, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and income difference. Our vision is to be THE safe space to turn first to restore one’s whole being and improve the life of persons with cancer and their families beyond the disease. Click here to learn more.

Throughout the process, families receive expert case management and support services from a dedicated staff of social workers and mental health counselors.

HOME is a private, nonprofit providing a community response to homelessness through the involvement of interdenominational religious congregations. Click here to visit their website

Donations are accepted via our website during the month of March. Please mark as "Missions" when you process. Thank you for your support!
